Blackledge Law, PLLC founder David Blackledge focuses on two practice areas:
Assisting startups and emerging businesses as an affordable, part-time in-house counsel, and specific expertise and practical knowledge of government contracting, procurement, and post-award government program management and compliance.
He is a 30 year veteran of the technology world and worked in key management areas including sales and operation of early stage businesses, many venture-backed.
David brings a unique skill set to understanding his client issues and business concerns.
Mr. Blackledge holds a BS in Management from the Pennsylvania State University, an MBA in Finance and International Business from George Washington University, both with honors, post-graduate work in Mergers and Acquisitions at UCLA, and a JD from the Arizona State University College of Law.
David is a member of several professional associations focusing on the technology community as well as an active angel investor in both Phoenix and Tucson. At the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, David specialized in the law of science and technology.
There David won several CALI awards in business law signifying significant academic achievement.
Activities included board membership in community service groups such as the Corporate and Business Law Society (CABLS) and a student ambassador in the schools admissions office. He was also a senior associate in the Innovation Advancement Program (IAP) legal and business consulting clinic.
