Regarding Child Custody

My Lawyer genuinely cared about my case, my children and the outcome for my children's best interests. He stayed involved and was not swayed by threats from my children's father. He did not mislead me, with respect to what was possible, but did try to understand my predicament. He treated me with ...consideration and respect, even when we disagreed . My Lawyer explained things to me as thoroughly as he could and did his best to protect the interests of my children, as well as council me on the capabilities of the Law. He always showed up and was accessible for advice , regardless of the time or trouble to him. Through many trying times and a very difficult and volatile case, my Lawyer stood by me and gains were made. I am grateful for his part in our lives.

Censure issued in AZ, 2006

updated on 10/26/2015

Censure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State censures the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Arthur’s comment:

“The opposing party complained about the strategy which I used to help my client. The Bar agreed, and as a result I was censured and required to take a class.”

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
