Community Involvement
As an active member of the Arizona legal community, Ms. Kercsmar is a leader in many organizations. She is currently the President of the Arizona Women’s Lawyers Association, Maricopa Chapter and a former board member for the Maricopa County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division. Ms. Kercsmar was also appointed to the Professionalism Committee of the State Bar of Arizona in 2007 and will serve a three year term. Ms. Kercsmar was the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Chairperson of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s “Law Week,” an annual week of charity events sponsored by the MCBA. In addition, she chaired the Judicial Appointments Committee for the Arizona Women’s Lawyers Association from 2006-2008. She has also volunteered in numerous other community legal programs such as the Volunteer Lawyers Program, Wills for Heroes, the State Bar of Arizona’s Mentor Program and the Maricopa County Superior Court’s Student Courthouse Experience.
Ms. Kercsmar is a member of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, Scottsdale Bar Association, American Bar Association and Maricopa County Bar Association.

Ms. Kercsmar is from Fargo, North Dakota and moved to Arizona in 1987. She and her husband both practice law and work together. When not working, she enjoys spending time with their daughters and traveling.
