Selena A Knapp-Norgaard

I hired Selena, her lack of communication, minimal knowledge, and inability to do things effectively almost lost my entire case. She was more interested in her race medals than listening to clients and always seemed to be too busy for any communication. Her office is a disaster, has billing issues ... is disorganized. She told me what I asked for was “impossible” and went as far to tell me that it was wrong of me to ask for certain things. After getting another attorney, they had to overcome her incompetence to help me win my case. I lost things that were in written agreements due to Ms Knapp-Norgards unprofessionalism that I deserved and was legally entitled to per Rule 69. After my experience I would never trust her with my children’s future in family court. I am just glad I fired her and got another attorney before I completely lost everything.

Based on my experience, I have concerns about this attorney's billing, ethics, and communication practices. I was billed for a consultation that I paid for at the time of service, and I also received an invoice that appeared to contain information intended for another client with my same last name. ...Charges seemed to result from administrative errors, yet I was still asked to pay for charges that were not mine. Several years after my initial consult, I received emails asking me to again pay these charges that were not mine, with added interest and late fees. I never retained this attorney or signed any fee agreement with her. My experience with her was also very rude and unprofessional . Given my experience, I would not use her services for any legal matter.

I wish I would have found Selena from the beginning of my divorce. I was with a different lawyer at the beginning that I felt just took advantage of me and didn’t care about my case or what I was going through. Mid-way through my experience I switched to Selena and that made all the difference in the... world. She got things done!!! Quickly and efficient and kept me up to date all the way through in a way I could understand. I highly recommend her and her team. They were amazing and I’m very happy with my results.
