About Christa
Biography
Christa Banfield has focused her practice on family law since before she was even
licensed in 2011, externing with Community Legal Services and the Honorable Bruce
Cohen, and interning with family law practices in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Christa’s background allows her to bring both empathy and logic to her practice – an
important balance in family law matters.
In 2003, Christa obtained her first Bachelor’s of Science in Supply Chain Management,
which she put to use as a business analyst for Honeywell before pursuing her law
degree. Her love of numbers and analytics serves her well when handling high asset
dissolutions, dissolutions with businesses involved, and simply being able to analyze
different financial scenarios for her clients.
Christa’s second BS was in Psychology, and while attending ASU’s Sandra Day
O’Connor College of Law she focused her classes on Law and Psychology, earning her
graduate certificate in Law, Science, and Technology. While Christa emphasizes that
she is not a psychologist, her study of the subject helps in dissolution matters where
mental health concerns, child development issues, substance abuse, domestic violence,
and other such issues are present.
In her free time, Christa enjoys spending time with her family on their hobby farm
playing with the goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and tortoise.

Professional and Positive Counsel
