Shane D Buntrock

Shane D. Buntrock, received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV® Preeminent rating. He is the Managing Member of Buntrock & Gardner Law, PLLC. Shane launched his own law firm in 2013 as part of his dream and with the support of his clients, family and friends. Prior to starting his own firm, Shane was a shareholder in a successful Phoenix law firm and a shareholder in a East Valley law firm located in Mesa. Shane’s practice emphasizes business and corporate law, acquisitions, commercial civil litigation and personal injury. He primarily focuses in the areas of corporate succession and acquisition, creditor rights, landlord tenant, employment law, protection of trade secrets, construction litigation and trust and estate litigation.

Mr. Buntrock is highly experienced in counseling and defending parties in various litigations including non-compete agreements, workouts, lender loan documentation, business divorce, buy sell agreements, easement or boundary disputes. He counsels and represents individuals and businesses in claims for contractual damages, claims for breach of fiduciary duties and recovery of collateral. Representative clients include manufacturing companies, retailers and direct sales companies, defense contractors, banks, lenders, health care professionals, surgery centers, insurance agents and agencies, industrial manufacturers and suppliers, farmer and ranchers, injured individuals and businesses and industrial equipment suppliers. Mr. Buntrock handles personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Shane and his wife are the parents of four children. He is active in his church and volunteers with the Mesa Baseline Rotary Club, Little League and the Boy Scouts of not working, Shane enjoys golf, upland bird and big game hunting.

Shane is also proud to be a burn injury survivor. He is currently general counsel and Board Chair Elect for the Arizona Burn Foundation which provides education, emotional and financial support to burn survivors and their families. He also serves on the board of directors for the Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence.

Firetrace USA LLC et al adv. Lawrence Jesclard and Hazard Protections System, Inc. United States District Court for the District of Arizona, 2007-CV-2001. Obtained defense verdict against all claims for alleged misappropriations of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition and alleged patent infringement. Obtained defense verdict after two week jury seeking over $50 million in damages.

Hogan v. Anasazi Foundation, United States District Court obtained dismissal of claim for alleged wrongful termination based on sexual orientation discrimination.
