Christopher D Lonn

Christopher Lonn practices general commercial litigation, arbitration and administrative law with a focus on contractual and real estate disputes, and construction and securities litigation. He represents homebuilders and developers, handling numerous construction defect actions and consumer disputes.

In securities matters, he has represented broker-dealers and investors in a wide range of disputes including proceedings before various administrative agencies, including the Arizona Securities Division, the Arizona Corporation Commission, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

While focusing on real estate, construction and securities disputes, Mr. Lonn also maintains a general commercial litigation practice which extends to all sorts of business disputes, including commercial torts, breaches of contract, and breaches of fiduciary duty, defamation, and shareholder derivative actions. He also counsels clients, and provides transactional legal counsel, on a wide variety of business and employment-related issues.

Mr. Lonn has conducted numerous trials and a wide variety of hearings in the United States District Court of Arizona and Arizona Superior Court.  In 2011 Mr. Lonn was awarded the rating of “AV Preeminent” from Martindale-Hubbell, which the highest possible peer rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Lonn is a member of the Scottsdale Bar Association.  He served as President of the Scottsdale Bar Association for the 2004-2005 term.

Mr. Lonn graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Justice Studies. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Mr. Lonn is also admitted to practice law in California.
