I've known Mark Pyper for 30 years and have not only hired him as our attorney, but also witnessed his expert work on high profile cases dating back to the Resolution Trust Corporation years in the early 1990's. Mark faithfully and expertly helped our family with our bankruptcy and worked with our re...

This gentleman charged me but failed to show up on two different occasions two court and didn't even notify me that he couldn't make the court date. Constantly blamed his personal life for failure to maintain contact. We ended up hiring another attorney after wasting a ton on this guy. Would not rec...
I am personally familiar with this client. I handled a small bankruptcy for her and all of her documents were filed with the court on time. I returned her phone calls on time. Her discharge was granted on time. There were no complication in here case whatsoever. Unfortunately, on one occasion, I was 15 minutes late to a routine hearing, that otherwise went very smoothly. According to the court docket, this client never hired another lawyer to represent her in this case. Food for thought. MBP

Probation issued in AZ, 2013
updated on 10/01/2016Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I was the sole care giver of my terminally ill son who passed in 2008. While experiencing depression in 2009, I withdrew from the representation of two nonpaying clients. Both filed bar complaints. The first client accepted a token payment to resolve her "claim." The second client ended up paying me $140,000 in unpaid attorneys fees. Rather than fight the AZ State Bar, I agreed to a short probation. Now I am being crucified by AVVO & the internet. Nice. Who is going to read this though?”
