personal review from experience

Mac has become a dear friend over the years. As bad as our overall experience was, we would not change anything because we have won a friend for life, and together we have gained invaluable experience and education. We feel that God had brought us through this to teach us and wake us up to what is ac...tually happening around us. My husband and I used Mac and his attorney friend Brent Winters for criminal defense in a very unusual case where we filed a lawsuit and got in trouble for it. The case took years and a lot of money to fight. We lost to a corrupt government in the end. The process was the biggest education in our lives. We came out of the bubble of happiness and idea that love and truth will set you free beliefs we lived in, and jumped into a world of corrupt government practices and an eye-opening education that shook us to the core of our beliefs about our countries justice system and in the end made fighters and educators out of us. We learned just how incredibly deceitful, secretive, and deceptive the government Courts are. We learned how much lying goes on in a court room, how the certified transcripts can be altered or have pages and lines deleted or be completely deleted from the court system! We won our case in the first trial. The Judge ordered a miss trial! We won it on Speedy trial issues. The Judge refused to honor the law, and made his own decision to punish us because we pressed the law and were right! We won it again in the second trial with Mac's incredible defense practices. Mac was given a very short notice to go to bat for us and defend us. He studied hard became hard to live with because he worried about us so much, but went into the court room like a tiger. He proved that the FBI agent lied from the beginning to the grand Jury! He proved that the FBI was a professional " expert witness" and had sat in the witness chair using his lies and innuendos to win cases in so many trials that he could not count them. He proved that these people were experts in creating cases, prefabricating evidence and making lies appear truthful against innocent people! Mac won the case hands down on the rule 29 in the end of the trial, because the prosecutor actually argued issues that were not even in the indictment throughout the whole first trial and all of the second trial, including the final argument! The whole case should have been dropped! But the Judge took over as lead prosecutor and ran with his idea of what would happen no matter what! This in the end is very fishy. When you watch this, you understand how you have just been manipulated, and learn that as one party, you have no control over these events. We learned that Judges are not mediators any more in a court room. A mediator would play both sides equally and protect both sides right to present real evidence and real truth. They are paid to prosecute a case even if you are innocent! We learned that the truth does not matter. The truth is actually impossible to present, because of the ability for the language to be redacted, and altered. We learned that in a lot of cases your evidence will not be allowed if it does not favor the government! We were charged with a thought crime we never thought of. The charges were set up and arranged so the government could win! In study of our case later we learned that these charges were so vague that anything the government wanted could be designed to fit the charges. How can a person in this country get a fair impartial trial? I have to admit this whole mess was hard on us, but Mac made it livable. He taught us that you cannot always win against a corrupt government. Sometimes you need to step back and see the devil with his horns instead of listening to the devils forked tongue. I know that we won this case over and over again. The best win was in the end when Mac defended us. The most discovery of the government corruption was in the end when Mac helped us find these answers. Under any other circumstances I know we would have beat the system of corruption with Mac's defense. Mac was just ston

"Mac is one of a vanishing breed. He is doggedly devoted to his clients, tenacious in his representation, and brilliantly strategic. Mac and I first worked together on a criminal defense case over a decade ago, and he has been a valued sounding board to brainstorm my toughest cases ever since. Just when it looks like there is no good answer, Mac comes up with something no one else could. I eagerly endorse this lawyer."
