Shelley was recommended by a good friend of mine when I was going through a post-decree petition by my ex in family court. Shelley recently handled a very difficult divorce case for me. She got the case only a few weeks before the final hearing. There were boxes of motions, minute entries, reports, emails and other potential exhibits. Shelley spent the time necessary to get up to speed on the case and prepared an excel...lent pre trial statement. With an overwhelming number of potential exhibits to submit, Shelley determined a strategy for the final hearing and submitted (what turned out to be) the proper exhibits for the hearing. The final hearing was a nine hour affair with twists and turns, and Shelley handled it all expertly. During the hearing Shelley looked like a pro. She had a complete command of the facts in the case. Shelley knew courtroom procedure, was excellent at examining and cross examining witnesses and interacting with the judge. Shelley was particularly well adept at thinking on her feet during cross and re directs. She looked and acted like a seasoned veteran. Before, during and after the hearing Shelley was a comfort. She kept me informed every step of the way. This was a long and contentious divorce, and Shelley made me feel like I had an advocate.
