I filed chapter 13 with Clark Law Offices in 2011. During the past 6 months, I am in the process of attempting to refinance my home, and have needed their services to assist in the process. I call 2-3 times and leave messages, and don't get returned phone calls. I only get responses through email ...or if I continue to call to get connected. The last 3 attempts to contact them, emails weren't getting answered or responses. During these attempts to communicate, I went directly to the trustee to obtain information, and was able to do so on my own...in less than 5 minutes...yet they can't? I keep getting the "run around" that they aren't getting responses from my mortgage company's attorney to resolve. The paralegal claims to not receive information from my potential mortgage company, yet he has sent her what she has asked for 2-3 times via email. Seems unreasonable to me...is there a lack of communication at the other end too? Not just with me? FHA will not grant me a refinance with a caivrs report on my record. Chase tells me they did not file this with FHA...so who did? Isn't it my attorney's responsibility to resolve this reporting? I was told by the trustee it is! I have now been assigned to another paralegal in their firm, and still no response to my last email. This process has been long, exhausting, but most of all disappointing. I was charged for this bankruptcy service (I feel higher than normal) to trust them to do their part and yet, can't get any communication from this firm. The next step? File a complaint with the bar
