Don't waste your time or money

Unfortunately, I hired Jason when ending a 32 year marriage. Jason failed to file paperwork with the court I would send to him as well as failed to submit it to my soon to be ex. He was only interested in burning through my retainer. He couldn't remember details I had told him and I even provided... him with an organized tabbed binder with everything thing from W2s, cars, credit cards and Bank accounts. In a zoom conference with the Judge she had asked Jason what the hold up was with this case as it was simple,,, No kids, house, pensions etc. Jason threw me under the bus staying to the Judge that neither client had made a "Good Faith Effort to Resolve This". After the zoom, I called Jason and asked why he said that when I had made a more than generous offer to settle taking 75% of the debt and it was turned down. His reply was he wanted my ex to like him. After 2 months of getting nothing accomplished, and running out of my retainer, I was Blessed to be referred to an amazing attorney just 3 miles away from him. She jumped right in and settled this matter where Jason had asked the Judge for a trial date to be set 60 days out. Do your research before you hire.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
