Mr. LaSota, in his stated capacity as egal counsel for the Lake Havasu Unified School District Board send me a "cease and desist letter" on behalf of Board Chairman and recidivist felon David Michael Rose in his personal capacity, with the clear intent to chill my freedom of the press to publish fact...s on Mr. Rose's background as a declared candidate in the current LD30 race for the Arizona House of Representatives. As LHUSD Board meeting minutes and agendas show no evidence that the board members authorized the expenditure of public funds for the chairman's personal benefit, and ostensibly Mr. LaSota's billable hours, I emailed Mr LaSota and asked for proof that his 9-page work product was legally authorized. He did not respond. Therefore, it is my good faith belief that Mr. LaSota may be the recipient of public monies in violation of A.R.S. 35-301, a class 4 felony, and possibly other criminal statutes. As an attorney, Mr. LaSota should reasonably know that this demand letter was outside the scope of his duties as legal counsel for the LHUSD Board and his fiduciary responsibilities to protect their funds from unauthorized expenditures.

Timothy La sota was hired by the GOP Republican Chairwoman JEANNE KENTCH who is also happens to be the county assessor for Mohave County. He was hired using donation money provided by other republicans to take fellow republicans to court petitioning a judge to violate the first amendment rights of th...ese fellow republicans; Jeanne Kentch and La Sota were featured on an article exposing this attempt published by journalist Brian Ference; In an article in Today's News Herald titled "Six months later, LHUSD still withholds 70 emails tied to district upheaval and top city officials" written by Dylan Wickman on December 3, 2025; La Sota was named on a list of people for sending emails to DAVID ROSE the school board president and a felon described as a CON MAN, who is currently running for Arizona House LD 30 and who also happens to be the school board president; Today's News Herald did a public records request for emails that were exchanged by top city officials regarding administrative turnover; more than 70 emails were not handed over citing privacy issues; Here's a great question; Why is Timothy La Sota the GOP attorney named on that list interacting with David Rose and why are these people citing privacy when these people are supposed to be transparent?
