Exceptional over the long-haul

Robert Mitchell has been an invaluable guide and a reliable resource throughout our fifteen-year association. He expertly navigated a case in which I had to sue my 10-year-plus employer when an in-house financial advisor mistakenly inactivated the guaranteed step-up on my annuity. In FINRA arbitratio...n, Robert fought hard as my equalizer against the big bank, and his diplomatic skills allowed their dignity to remain intact, thus enabling my continued employment with them to this day. In fact, he and his team have saved me several times over the years expertly handling litigious matters involving real estate, lenders, insurance claims, and contractors. I highly recommend Robert for his expertise, his particularly good care, and above all for his second-to-none integrity.

Review of Robert Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell handled a dispute that I had conerning multiple real estate transactions. It was a complex case that pitted our side against an adversary of considerable means. Additionally Mr. Mitchell had to answer questions raised by the media and also find appropriate points of leverage to excercise... in order to persuade a very intransient opponent. All through this very difficult process, Mr. Mitchell carefully considered and presented options. As plaintiffs, our course of action had to be modified to fit the changing situation. I had never been involved in litigation before and Mr. Mitchell is a consumate professional who was our unwavering advocate. He could be tough when needed but also knew when to use diplomacy and has tremendous patience. If I could invent the perfect counsel, it would describe Mr. Mitchell to a "T". Ultimately we prevailed and did so with our dignity intact, knowing that justice was served. Mr. Mitchell has my gratitude and I can recommend him without a single reservation.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
