Meet Lilia Alcaraz, a licensed attorney with over 20 years of experience in immigration and tax law! Certified as a specialist in immigration and nationality law by the State Bar of California, Lilia has been instrumental in representing clients across the United States, at U.S. ports of entry, and in U.S. diplomatic missions around the globe.

Raised in an immigrant community, Lilia's firsthand understanding of the challenges immigrants face has shaped her career. She specializes in various aspects of immigration law including treaty trader and investor (E1 and E2) visas, employment (H1B and L1) visas, TN visas under the USMCA and NAFTA, as well as visas for professionals in the sciences, education, business, performing arts, and sports (O and P visas).

Beyond her broad experience in immigration law, Lilia also assists clients in securing permanent resident status in the U.S through business and family-based immigration programs. She provides valuable advice on immigration compliance during corporate mergers and acquisitions, pre-immigration tax and estate planning, and worksite labor compliance programs.

Lilia's academic achievements are equally impressive. She holds a double major in Psychology and Spanish from The University of Arizona, a law degree from Arizona State University, advanced legal training in international trade from the Sorbonne in Paris, and a postgraduate degree in international tax law from the University of Denver.

Her unwavering commitment to the field is evident through her contributions to the American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA) national conferences and publications. Additionally, Lilia serves as the Co-Chair of the ALA National Hispanic Latino Immigration Lawyer Group and is a member of the AILA DEI and Client Resources Committees.

When not immersed in legal briefs or the latest Supreme Court case opinion, Lilia finds balance through meditation and Kundalini Yoga. She also dedicates her time to supporting young people with disabilities and is the Official IT Support Specialist® for her children's Roblox gamer group.
