Misses court filing deadlines, non-responsive to voice and email messages

I hired Ian Quinn to represent me in a contract dispute regarding a residential solar system. He sounded pro-active and appeared able to represent me. He filed my case in the Arizona Superior Court on 4/26/2022. I provided all the information (contract and supporting information) he requested within ...2-3 days. I requested status updates (every 1-2 months), both to determine how it was going and to see if anything else was needed. I met with Ian in November 2023 asking for an update - he said everything was moving along. I asked for another update in February 2024, actually scheduled an meeting with Ian for 2/27/2024. Ian never showed up. I left several voice and email messages requesting a status update - he never responded. I checked the Arizona Superior Court case information on 3/27/2024 - it showed the case was dismissed due to Ian Quinn not meeting document filing deadlines. I would not recommend Ian Quinn for any legal issues.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline

Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
