I enjoy helping individuals, families and companies resolve their disputes with federal and state tax authorities and to put that unpleasant experience behind them.

My professional career began as a trial attorney for the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC. My Justice Department experience, combined with over 35 years in private practice resolving tax disputes, give my clients a high level of confidence for successfully resolving their tax issues related to individual and corporate audits, tax preparation, and non-resident and non-filer status. Toward that objective, I frequently work with retired IRS agents and Department of Justice attorneys in obtaining successful results for my clients.

Outside the office, I’m an avid runner and have competed in marathons and ultra-marathons. I was one of a team of 20 runners who participated in a charity fund raising event between San Francisco and Washington, DC on behalf of ADAPT (America's Drug Abuse Prevention Team).

Along with my passion for running, I’m a long-time supporter and board member of the Lost Boys Center for Leadership Development.
