Robert Martin Bartels

My sister and I hired Mr. Bartels in October of 2021 for estate representation. His firm, Fraser, Ryan, Goldberg & Arnold came highly recommended. After just about two years, we have spent a lot of money and ended up right where we started. We gained nothing with Mr. Bartels representation. A total ...waste of money. In hind sight, it was obvious that Mr. Bartels was fresh out of law school, but wouldn’t discuss how much experience he had. Even when confronted, he would change the subject. In our case, Mr. Bartels was out foxed by a tax attorney, that made him look foolish. Mr. Bartels was very passive, letting the opposing attorney drive the case. When the opposing attorney refused to cooperate, Mr. Bartels would never get aggressive. Always very careful and passive. Mr. Bartels customer service was terrible. He never returned emails or phone calls. He always promised to do better but never did. In the summer of 2022, Mr. Bartels did nothing for 3 months and didn’t even contact me or my sister. This was a critical time as we were waiting for important information for opposing attorney. Mr. Bartels did nothing. He just continued to take my money. In May of this year, Mr. Bartels left the firm he was working for and went to another. He actually asked if we wanted to come with him and continue to be his client. I feel cheated and taken.
