I would have to say Mr Gilmore is a very professional and respectful individual. He was assigned to me by the courts on a matter and he went on and beyond. State wanted me to do 6 years thru Mr Gilmore s due diligence and his experience got it dismissed. He would fight for you and advise you on the b...est course of action. The state was not letting up we went as far as down as 2.5 that they offered me but as i stated he took it as far as willing to go to higher court or Supreme Court if necessary. Yet his experience and knowledge of the law was able to find negligence delay of prosecution and prejudice against me and made the courts aware of DAs shorts comings. Gilmore Bernard was assigned to my case replacing my first public defender at first I felt good about him I had faith he would get everything solved but I was wrong. Just like the first public defender he never called me or answered my emails kept on asking for continuances despite me telling him I d...idnt want that, on 10/15/24 I was supposed to have my trial and without informing me of anything they changed it to a status conference where they decided to "add another charge for disorderly conduct" after a whole year had gone by with continuances i was never ok with or requested they all of a sudden decided to add a charge Gill did absolutely nothing about it even tho I told him NO IM NOT ACCEPTING ANOTHER BOGUS CHARGE. Gill also stated that he wasnt there to prove my innocence.. its very unfortunate that this dirty conduct exists in our justice system, we have judges who turn a blind eye and are aware that attorneys are working against their own clients to favor prosecution and choose to ruin peoples lives instead of upholding the law. NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW

I cannot express how grateful I am for Gill's help! In September, I was falsely accused and arrested on aggravated assault charges, but Gill has been so supportive throughout the whole ordeal. Today, I received the news that the state is dropping the case against me, and I am overjoyed! Due to these ...false allegations, I lost my job and my home.
