I would give ZERO stars if i could. ! I retained Maahs for an accident injury case. I spoke to him one time. The majority p0-9]i [nmjof the 6 months I worked with his paralegal, paulina. I went to an out of pocket chiropractor but could have gone to a free doctor as I am American Indian. He was fully... aware of this. I informed my chiropractor that I had retained an attorney and he was willing to wait for payment. Six months after retaining Maahs, my postman knocked on my door one saturday with a letter for me to sign, It was from Phillips Law group, the firm Maahs works for, It was informing me I was no longer being represented. NO phone call, NO email from either the attorney that I thought I had or his paralegal. The following monday, i called the paralegal who told me "i will look for your file and tell you why you have been dropped" She NEVER called back. I emailed maahs who didnt even have the courtesy or professionalism to reply to me. I emailed the paralegal again and was told my file would be sent to me. I will see it later today. I have no idea if I will even be informed why I was dropped.I BELIEVE i was dropped because i wasnt hurt bad enough and they could not make TONS of money off me. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME UPFRONT THAT THEY ONLY TAKE CASES WHERE THE COST OF MEDICAL TREATMENT IS A CERTAIN (LARGE) AMOUNT, I would not have retained them. I was not involved in a SERIOUS accident and they knew that. Now I have nearly 2k in medical bills that I am responsible for, no attorney and I get to start all over. I was treated as tho I no longer existed once they realized i would not have thousands of medical costs. Extremely impersonal and horrible experience for me, I will NEVER go to his firm again and plan to share my Horrible experience with everyone I know.

I was really hurt in a rollover accident. I had many life-threatening injuries. Kurt was amazing!! He was by my side every step of the way. He treated me like family. Kurt helped me get a settlement that will allow me to live comfortably for the rest of my life. I would recommend Kurt to anyon...e that wants a lawyer that really cares about their clients.
