Great Attorney

I went to David after my dissatisfaction with another attorney who was handling my spousal support case. David took over at the last minute, did all the work required and best of all, I felt very taken care of and protected by David. He is very well respected by the judge on our case and because he... knew her style, he did not push things even though I wanted him to. He knew if we waited things out, she would see my ex for the liar he was and that happened! Because of David's tactics she eventually found my ex in contempt of court and even imposed sanctions on him, which David said almost never happens. I have two separate actions against my ex that I have to file one at a time, but because David was so proactive and has a positive non aggressive attitude (but assertive), he got my ex to agree to the second matter, which will avoid us from having to go to court again to file for that, saving us money. David is extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable about the issues I was dealing with. When we did have another issue arise (my ex filing for bankruptcy) that he was not expert in, he referred me another attorney in his firm. I would highly recommend David.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
