Biography
Practiced in Arizona state and federal courts for 36 years, admitted in 1978. I have been an Arizona State Bar of Arizona, Certified Criminal Law Specialist for the last twenty years. Expert in Fourth Amendment analysis. During the course of the last ten years, I have prepared four or more motions to suppress annually; these include - home, vehicles, Franks motions, as well as wiretap defense. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Have practiced on a pro hac vice basis in California, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
From September 2013 until April 2014, successfully presented a motion to suppress in Maricopa County Superior Court that took five court sessions to resolve - suppression granted.
More than two hundred trials in my career. Of these, approximately fifty to juries. I have filed appellate briefs and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, I have handled numerous petitions for special actions before Divisions I and II of the Arizona Court of Appeals, as well as petitions for review with the Arizona Supreme Court.

Helped me out of a bad situation
Mr. Zuniga helped me out of a difficult situation. The details of the situation are private, but I will say that Mr. Zuniga was able to negotiate a plea deal for me to not have to do jail time.
