She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Women Lawyers of Utah, Utah Bar Association, the Southern Utah Bar Association, the Southern Utah Estate Planning Counsel, and the American Bar Association.
She graduated from Washburn Law with Dean's Honors and certificates in estate planning, tax, and business and transactional law. One of her favorite parts of law school was providing support to low-income families through the Guardianship Assistance Program and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance ("VITA") clinic. Through this service, she received a pro bono honors with distinction award. She especially enjoyed her business and tax classes, where she received CALI awards for earning the highest grade in Taxation of Business Enterprises and Debtor Creditor Relations.
During law school she worked as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division at the Kansas Attorney General's Office. She served as Vice President and President of the Tax and Estate Planning Association, Director of the VITA Clinic, Treasurer of the Pro Bono Law Society, and Secretary of the Business Law Society.
While completing her undergraduate degree at Dixie State University (“DSU”) in St. George, Utah, she worked full-time as an estate planning paralegal, graduated magna cum laude with her degree, and served as Vice President of the Booth Honors Club. Before transferring to DSU with a full-tuition academic scholarship, she received an award for women in entrepreneurship at Brigham Young University and served on the student leadership counsel for the Marriot Undergraduate School of Business.
Lindsay has prioritized community service since high school, where she led school-wide service projects as President of the Service Club at Desert Hills High School.
Lindsay, her husband, and two dogs enjoy traveling and the outdoors. You will often find her dirt biking, hiking, jet skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
