Mr. Woods is a successful trial lawyer.  He has performed various trials, both bench and jury trials, and has appeared before appellate, trial and administrative judges and in federal, state and territorial courts.

Mr. Woods clerked for the Honorable Dale A. Kimball of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. In May 2011, he accepted an international position as an Assistant Attorney General for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa. During his time overseas, he defended the U.S. Territory against a variety of civil claims and appeared regularly before the High Court of American Samoa. In May 2012, Mr. Woods was an instructor at the Conference of Western Attorney Generals (CWAG) Alliance Partnership's oral advocacy training for Mexican lawyers held in San Diego, C.A.

Very Happy
I hired Daniel when my ex was unwilling to allow me more time with our children. Daniel did a great job representing me and always gave me honest feedback about what he thought the judge would do according to the law and precedent. Daniel always did as I asked and directed him to do. It was a long process (not his fault, courts move slowly), Daniel kept me informed about everything as it came along. He worked very hard I am very pleased with his work on my case and highly recommend him.

Review of Mr. Danial Woods
Mr . Danial Woods was and is amazing - I truly struggled with what was the right thing to do -I didn’t even want to be moving forward with everything - I wanted things to be kind and easy on the other party and the kids emotionally and I was clueless as to matters of the court - Danial was so patient and explained everything in a way I could understand - and he listened and did exactly what I wanted even though it wasn’t the normal and was truely patient when I would be indecisive - he always answered my phone calls and worked around my schedule - I felt as though he was kind and considerate of both sides but yet stood by what he believed was fair and right for me and my duture. He never spoke negative of the other party or the other parties lawyers which I really appreciated - - He was very thorough in every aspect of the case- I I would totally recommend him and did to my dear friend today - I know he will take good care of her - and last but not least financially he was very kind to me - thank you Danial for everything -

Above and beyond
Our family hired Daniel long distance to represent our interests in an unfortunate court filing. He was helpful, kind, prompt and did a great deal of research in order to proceed in the manner that most benefitted us, the clients. The filing was dismissed before it even got to court, saving us frustration, anxiety, travel and the possible expenditure of large sums of money. To top it off, he was as thrilled about the outcome as we were, and gave us the feeling that we were important to him. While we are hopeful that we will not need his services again (we live in Michigan), I would not hesitate to call him to represent our interests if needed.

A great lawyer!
Daniel was so easy to work with - he was kind, well-spoken, but also made everything he was doing and saying easy for a non-lawyer to understand. I especially appreciated how quickly he updated me with new information, and how quickly he responded to correspondences. I felt very safe sharing my story of sexual assault and domestic violence with him, and felt that he understood how to be trauma-informed when talking with a survivor. I am very grateful we found Daniel, and I highly recommend him!

Amazing Attorney!
Daniel Woods did an amazing job for me as my divorce attorney. He was a fantastic steward over my money and valued and respected his time and mine. He was open and honest and allowed me to express my wants and desires as needed. He made it so easy to trust him in a time in my life where trusting was a challenge. Daniel knew exactly what to petition to the court inorder to best meet my needs. He was there for me ever step of the process and at the same time allowed me to process Im things as I needed. I cannot say enough good about the character and integrity of Daniel. I highly recommend him to anyone in this challenging situation. You can look around however, I wouldn’t bother going to anyone else!! He’s at the top!

We had Great experience with Daniel Woods. Took time to answer all questions very up front didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear just to collect a dollar. We have use many lawyers for the same case over 10yrs and never went anywhere. With Daniel we resolved the issue and now are able to move on. He turned around my whole look on all attorneys just want money. Daniel worked for his money and provided results. Divorce law review
Daniel Woods has worked with my husband and I as a mediator to help us come to an agreement on our divorce. Daniel was very kind and took the time to explain everything we needed to understand about how a divorce works in the state of Utah. Daniel Woods was referred to me to obtain guardianship of my grandson. I have always heard horror stories about attorneys and scared to work with one. During our consultation, Daniel explained the process and gave me an estimate of the cost. I was so happy that it was all I had to pay. Daniel is the Lawyer you have been looking for!
Daniel was fantastic to work with. We met for a free 30-minute consult where I bombarded him with questions. He was kind, thoughtful, and gave some great advice. It was such a breath of fresh air compared to other lawyers. I hired him to help with my divorce. He took a very overwhelming process and was there with helpful advice and took me through every step. Good Guy!
I had no idea I would ever have to hire an attorney but was being threatened by a lawsuit from a company after changing my mind about hiring them to do some work on my house. A friend recommended Daniel and I am so glad he did. It was so easy working with him, it was like talking to a good friend. I always knew he had my best interest in mind. Don't know where I'd be without him
I had been struggling to find an honest, hard working attorney I could trust with my custody situation for about 3 years.
