Justin was not easy to work with. He was rude and short with me while I was explaining case details. Contacting him was difficult. I ultimately felt like he was working against me. During one appearance he made a decent effort but I feel like it’s a matter of catching him on the right day. If you ca...n request another legal defense attorney I would recommend it.

Although I was innocent he recommended I plea guilty. He did not help me negotiate, or broker a deal, of any sort we simply went with what the DA wanted, and in the end I ended up serving four months in jail with two years probation for crimes I didn't commit. He wouldn't return my families calls or... letters and his secretary was very unprofessional to my mom. I know we obviously can't expect much from a public defender, because the state gives them 100,s of cases at once, but he was the worst out of everyone. My fellow inmates in salt lake county jail received visits, help, evidence gathering, correspondence and much more from their Public Defenders. You have the right to get your defence changed and if you get justin knell you should not waive that right. Thanks for reading. I hope to save someone some trouble.
