also known as Dan Spencer, A. Daniel Spencer
After practicing family law for the last half decade, I have learned a lot of things. The biggest takeaway is that each client's situation is unique, and a strategy that makes sense for one client, will not necessarily work well for another. Each family is unique, and getting the best possible outcomes for each case means listening to and understanding where my clients are coming from, and where they want to go. I am not afraid to practice outside the box, and use creative and bold legal arguments to get the results my clients are entitled to.

Family Law Attorney
Dan has been amazing in helping me deal with my custody case. He is very knowledgeable and conscious of money I'm spending. He always responds to my emails and goes right to work on my case when I need him. I feel lucky that I found Dan and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family law att...

I would AVOID this lawyer at all costs!!!
Dan, is a lawyer who talks big in the beginning to hook you into hiring him to take your case. But it doesn't take long for my case to get neglected. Even after many calls and repeat pleading to Dan to take my wife to court because she had been withholding my kids from me, he makes promises to do som...
"Dan is an excellent attorney. His knowledge of family law is top notch and he is an excellent advocate. Dan does an amazing job representing parents in custody cases, but where he truly shines is representing children as their Guardian ad Litem. I have referred clients to Dan in the past knowing they will be well represented, and will continue to do so."
"I endorse this lawyer. Dan served as a private guardian ad litem in a contentious divorce case in which I represented one of the parties. I was impressed with Dan's kind temperament and cooperative approach in working with me and his clients, the children. I believe that Dan would be sympathetic and congenial in interacting with children, opposing counsel, and you, as a client. Taking this approach tends to resolve cases more quickly, because parties are more likely to settle their disputes. Although a relatively young lawyer, Dan has a commitment to helping others in the family law arena, and takes his client's legal matters very seriously."
"I recently represented a client at a hearing where Mr. Spencer was the opposing attorney. We were able to discuss complicated issues in reasonable terms and have communication that will help move the case along."
"Dan and I formed Open Legal Services together and it's been a privilege watching him grow as an attorney. He is an amazing child advocate. He works hard for his clients and is a great mix of easy going and aggressive depending on the situation."
"Mr. Spencer is knowledgeable, intelligent, and hard-working. He cares very much about getting great results for his clients."
