Ms. Palacios has lots of history in Criminal Law. Which is great if you have a criminal issue. If you're looking for family law, stay away. She doesn't know the field or the law well enough to do anything in a timely manner, and it gets very frustrating very quickly. She made me feel like she hadn't even read my case, made inappropriate suggestions as solutions, and requested to add things like grandparent rights into my decree during mediation. Ms. Palacios was assigned by the mediator to complete the final documents. She didn't keep us updated on what was happening in the case (most of the time NOTHING was happening) until we contacted her to ask for an update. We'd get excuses in return, and the promise to try to get it done within the week. My divorce has dragged out more than a year, and I'm still not seeing closure any time soon.
