I highly recommend Eric Barnes as an outstanding elder law attorney. He is one of only a few attorneys in the state of Utah that have obtained the Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) designation from the National Elder Law Foundation. This is not an easy honor to obtain or maintain. I have served with Eric as an officer in the Utah Bar Elder Law Section where he consistently brought very thoughtful and valuable insights to the issues being discussed and shared with the members of the section. I've also served as opposing counsel in a guardianship matter where I was impressed by his preparation and thoroughness in his representation of his client. I regularly refer clients who need an excellent elder law attorney to Eric. His fees are worth every penny for the advice that he can provide to families in need of his expertise. I endorse Eric without hesitation.
