My (now ex) husband filed for divorce in Utah, which is where we had resided together. As I had already relocated to the east coast, I was nervous about hiring a Utah attorney from long distance. Hyrum G Miller was suggested to me through the www.utahbar.org website and I couldn't be more pleased w...ith the services I received from him. We have never met in person and conducted all business via two phone calls and numerous emails. He was so sympathetic and understanding of my situation, and was warm, courteous, and knowledgeable in his dealings with me. I was amazed to see the number of documents he had filed with opposing counsel and/or the court on my behalf, and completed in such a short amount of time. A divorce is never easy or smooth, but this divorce was as smooth as I could have hoped for, and it was due to the good work from my attorney. I really felt sheltered from anything I didn't need to know about or deal with - which was priceless for me in my frazzled mental state. I just wanted to know where to sign to get it over with, and he was able to provide that level of service for me. He explained terms I didn't understand and didn't speak in jargon, unless necessary. I did my part by trying to keep my emails to a bare minimum and as short and concise as possible, and he reciprocated the same, which saved valuable time and money.
