Such a vastly different experience: a lawyer who told me the truth. A lawyer who told me what my other lawyer had done. A lawyer who pointed out the flaws in the oppositions case. I am in utter shock. I shudder to think if I hadn't decided to retain her. My whole world, my children are at stak...e and my other lawyer was pushing me into termination of parental rights without telling me. Signing for me and not showing me. For what purpose? I don't know. And she showed me; showed me what he had done and would not admit to doing. If your gut tells you that something is wrong, that your lawyer is steering you off a cliff, find Emy. As Utah swings wildly into being a father's rights state, supported by the "bro-hood"- you have to be careful who you trust. I trusted the wrong person. Hopefully it is not too late.

I am so thankful and grateful, I don’t even know where to start with this review. From start to finish, I truly had an awesome experience even with being in a different state and not being able to communicate directly in person it was difficult at first. We communicated through telephone and emails u...ntil I got to meet them a day before the MTO hearing. Emy understands what you are going through and they are very calming in their approach. Emy is very straight forward, she is not the type of lawyer that will tell you what you want to hear but rather tell you in reality and based off her experience. “STRAIGHT SHOOTER”!! So if you are looking for a lawyer that will present you based on the information that you provide the team, and not looking for a sugar coated cookie then she will be the right choice for you. If they ask you for items, make sure you get them what they ask for and in a timely manner. Don’t ask questions just do it!!! It’s no one’s fault but your own if don’t provide them what they ask for. There is a reason that they ask for the items. You may not know why the reason but believe me it will all come together in the end. Emy and the team are story tellers of the information that you provide them, in a legal way. I have so much to say about Emy and her team, I could keep going. I honestly feel that I have gained extended family with Emy and her team. Thank you for all the hard work that you guys did!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!

Emy did an amazing job from day one in understanding my divorce case and what was important to me for a resolution. She offered to sit down and meet in person multiple times, and that was a big deal to me. She was knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. Instead of the case going to cour...t and spending more money, she worked hard to get it to mediation and then fought for a positive resolution. Her communication was also very commendable throughout the process and I never felt in the dark about where we were at or what the next step was. Ms. Cordano and staff has been my rock in this storm of divorce I am navigating. Ms. Cordano your calming, steady presence continues to keep my heart in my chest. Recently, my/our character was viciously attacked in court. There is one intangible characteristic I take very personally and that is ...character. Character tells our story without words. Your character in response to the petitioners approach held the standard of professionalism one should expect in these sensitive, stressful situations. Having worn a uniform in service to my Country and a badge to serve and protect my community, having someones back "Got your 6" is paramount. You have my back.
