Arthur Bruce Macomber

I was represented by Art Macomber and Macomber Law from 9/21-4/22 with regards to an Inter-pleader Complaint that was filed against me for a real estate purchase that did not close from. During this time Macomber Law was sold and Art Macomber was no longer an employee of Macomber Law, which had a di...rect result to the outcome of my case in a negative way. Lack of Competent Representation, Important Information Not Being Conveyed, Missed Deadlines and Improper Court Procedure resulted in a judgement against me. Claiming No Responsibility, Lack of Action or Accountability on either Art Macomber or Macomber Law in helping to resolve the issues pertinent to my original Inter-pleader case, I am now faced to deal with numerous legal actions, court cases, fees, expenses, and damages because of my hiring Art Macomber and Macomber Law as my legal counsel.

Hired Mr. Macomber for a relatively straightforward easement dispute. Mr. Macomber charged over twice what the opposing lawyer did, seemed to drag the case out (billed nearly twice the hours the opposing lawyer did), and ultimately missed the filling deadline for our expert witnesses as well as the ...filing deadline for our evidence to be admitted at trial. We lost and I was forced to pay a portion of the other side's attorney's fees and costs. I was also forced to pay for my expert witness fees and their costs - had flown them in prior to trial only to learn on the first day of trial that they could not testify because of Mr. Macomber's error. No apology from Mr. Macomber. All in all, very poor experience.
