Sam was born in Idaho and raised on principles of hard work and excellence.

As a child, he lived in a school bus in a logging camp where his family lived off the land.

Sam wanted a better life for his children, so he went to law school on a full-tuition scholarship. Quickly disillusioned by the legal industry, Sam resolved to do things differently.

Sam has made it a priority to avoid outdated law practices.

My DUI case
I had an unusual DUI case and needed a lawyer. After reading the reviews of the #1 DUI lawyer in Idaho I chose Sam. These reviews are spot on. Initially I didn't know how I would pay for his services but they worked with me financially which took a huge burden off my shoulders. The entire legal office is friendly and very personable. I was able to meet Sam for my consultation and we laid out the situation and expectations. Throughout the entire process I was able to get in contact with Sam and the paralegals during or even after business hours to make sure everything was taken care of. The stress of the entire situation was nerve racking however, I was put at ease by his professionalism and guidance. I'm overseas deployed in Korea and even with the 16 hour time difference we were able to communicate effectively. DO YOUR PROGRAMS, TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY, AND BE HONEST and Sam can take care of the rest!. I can't thank him enough!

Underpromised and Overdelivered
I was about to be hit with a misdemeanor charge for driving with no insurance (strike 2). Sam made no promises as to what was going to happen, but did offer likely scenarios to calm my nerves, which were heavy. He was an excellent communicator and answered all of my anxious questions (and probably a couple dumb questions in there, too.) I got off with a very minor infraction instead of an ugly misdemeanor. I would definitely recommend him to anybody needing legal representation.

He was a rockstar in court. Pulled off the impossible. Not only was I facing 360 days in jail, Nate minimum two years supervised probation. I somehow got one year unsupervised probation. Can’t believe he pulled that off. Couldn’t be more impressed!!!! I highly recommend him you will not be disappointed!!

Sam Bishop fantastic attorney.
This guy is the man! Sam is super smart and was able to take my chaotic mess and turn it into a well thought out and organized defense. I was so scared and looking at a couple years of jail. I talked to several criminal attorneys who just made me feel worse until a friend recommended Mr Bishop. He learned my case inside and got up to speed really fast. He fabricated an excellent defense and got me prepared and feeling comfortable going forward. He was really cool to watch in court, the judge loved him and he was relentless with the prosecutor who ended up dropping the charges down to what I thought was impossible. No jail, and no criminal record for an employer to see. So yes I’m really, really happy I had Sam representing me. Highly recommended!!

SUPERB REPRESENTATION
I contacted a lawyer site, that referred me to Sam Bishop. From the start, he was kins and compassionate. We discussed all of the options for my case, and he explained thoroughly, how to proceed most effectively. Up until the date of my court appearance, Sam kept in touch and went over everything I needed to do, for the best outcome of my case. I followed all of his advice, and all of my charges were dismissed! Sam has been such an angel, and really eased all of my worries, and helped me reach the best outcome, for the situation. I'm so thankful, and would absolutely hire him again, if necessary!

DUI
Hired Sam for my 2nd DUI case. The prosecution really tried to hit me hard with the maximum penalties. At least 30 days jail , $2000 fine and 2 years supervised probation. He was able to drop my fine by more that half, no jail time and no supervised probation. Sam really came through for me. Best money I could have spent
