The Best!

I was referred to Shelley by another attorney I know who said she was "the best!" and a "great advocate!" amongst other superlatives and she certainly lived up to that billing! She was so great helping me handle my divorce case. She is an excellent communicator and very easy to talk to. She was al...ways there for me when I needed her and provided very prompt and detailed attention to any of my needs. With her help I was able to wrap up my case in an amazingly short period of time with all aspects of the case working out to be a fair and amicable deal for everyone. I highly recommend Shelley!

Hands down the best!

Shelley is a fantastic attorney. She understood exactly what needed to happen to get me the desired outcome for my situation. She’s easy to communicate with and available when I had any questions. And Shelley kept my budget at a fair and desirable level.

Best lawyer I could have asked for!!

Shelley was amazing in our case to terminate biological fathers rights and allow adoption by my husband. Smart, compassionate, and always made herself available

I am from the tri-state area and had a special need for council in Boise. After many phone calls I was sent to Shelley. She called me first thing the following business day and by our consult had come up with a well thought out plan to execute my needs. I hired her immediately and felt very comfor...table that she knew what she was doing and was definitely not a push over. If you’re looking for an experienced, thorough, detail-oriented, compassionate and professional divorce attorney who will advocate for you and get the job done, look no further than Shelley Akamatsu. Even though my divorce was a simple property divorce and did not involve any complex issues, it did i...nvolve having my ex served in Canada. From the time of my consultation with her, she was knowledgeable and compassionate towards my situation. She was an advocate of mine from the very beginning. What impressed me most is that her communication was always incredibly prompt and timely. She was very responsive very quickly even though I was clearly not her only client. I hired her Thursday, and by Tuesday afternoon she had my divorce petition submitted electronically. From the time I hired her to the time the petition was signed by the judge, took just over 1 1/2 months total. Shelley is incredibly efficient and communicative, which is rare in an attorney who is also compassionate. Shelley will fight for what you want in a professional, upstanding, assertive manner.
