Shelley was extremely helpful

Shelley was recommended to me from a friend so I knew I could trust her right from the start. Her professionalism and her deep knowledge of the law, and the process of divorce gave me confidence through each step of the way. Even when the answers were not what I necessarily wanted. I felt sure that w...e were doing the right thing according to the law. I would highly recommend her to any friend who needs these services.

As good as they come, stop looking, Shelley is the one.

There are a thousand adjectives to describe Shelley, but these are some of the most apt. Experienced. She was an Ada County Prosecutor for 26 years, she knows our local court system, prosecutors, attorneys, and judges inside and out because she has worked with them for decades, and trained many o...f them. Caring. I was referred to Shelley by a friend who worked with her, after my wife was arrested for felony domestic violence against me, in the presence of our young son. At the time Shelley was quite busy and unsure she could take my case, but after hearing my story of abuse, she made the time. Even though her only duty to me was to represent me in my divorce, she attended every one of my wife's criminal hearings, sitting by my side, supporting me. When I poured my heart out to the court during my wife's sentencing, Shelley was there. When I needed advice, Shelley was there. No non-sense. Shelley gets straight to the point. She will tell you what you need to do, and what you need to hear, even if you may not be ready to hear it. She will call a spade a spade, and she will call BS when she sees it. You can trust her to give you excellent advice at all times. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is not hiring Shelley, one of the second biggest is not taking her advice. An Incredible Value. Shelley's goal is to give you the best possible outcome for the lowest possible fees. She could easily charge twice what she does and be worth every penny. The Best. I had no idea how find a good attorney, and I am incredibly fortunate to have lucked into Shelley. While going through the process of my divorce I found myself talking to many people "in the system". They all confirmed what I suspected, Shelley is one of the best attorneys in the state of Idaho. Do yourself a favor, skip the big firms with all the advertising. You may get a good attorney, but more than likely you're going to get a junior associate, who charges more than Shelley, with far less experience, who is incentivized to drag out your case to pad their hours. Shelley is the real deal, you can't go wrong, and you won't regret hiring her.

Best lawyer I could have asked for!

I spoke to many lawyers, Shelley was the one that made me feel she was going to do her very best to help protect my daughter and get the best possible outcome for her. And we did! She really knows what she is doing. My situation was a bit unique with multiple states involved. I was also trying to rec...over from some trauma from the other party while going through this custody battle. Shelley cares and was a calming and reasonable voice to me many times throughout my anxiety in this case. She would take unplanned phone calls and stay on the phone with me until I felt better about what was happening in the case through our conversations. I was losing hope for a while and filled with fear but Shelley got us exactly what we were asking for without even having to go to trial. Now me and my family have so much peace in knowing things are okay and it is settled. I will forever be grateful for her!

Divorce

Shelley came highly recommended by an attorney friend of mine and I was assured she knew the law inside and out! Our divorce was anything but simple and to make matters worse, my husbands attorney we discovered was also his girlfriend. Given the circumstances there were definitely some tough and cha...llenging times. Having Shelley to help me navigate through it all was truly a blessing.She was not only a source of strength when I needed it but was also able to explain things every step of the way. She was extremely thorough and efficient when it came down to my legal rights and advocating for a fare and equitable settlement. Things were always addressed in a professional and timely manner. Aside from the fact that she is 100% on top of her game she is also a wonderful human being. I always felt she had my back and that my fears or concerns along the way were always addressed.
