Called. Check for conflict completed; no conflict. Consultation held the next morning. All new client paperwork completed, retainer paid, paperwork related to the case submitted on the same day as the initial consultation. Receptionist called the next afternoon and was very apologetic, but a conflict... was discovered and the firm was now declining the case. The full retainer was returned. There are short timelines facing this case. It appears this was a calculated move to negatively impact the case. If there was a conflict today, why didn’t it show on Tuesday when the conflict check was completed? In addition, now they have all the information on the case and there is no attorney-client relationship to keep Mr. Pinol from providing that to the other party that he must have some relationship with or there would not be a conflict. Very unethical.

I highly recommend Rich Piñol and his team. He has helped me in a complicated custody case. He is very knowledgeable, listens and communicates well, and is confident in the courtroom in high conflict situations.
