I hired Jon after a respectable local attorney I know, referred him because he was too busy to take my case. In the beginning of my case Jon seemed to be on it, but as my case progressed he put less and less effort toward it. I'm not going to dive into all the details of my case, it would not be a sh...ort review. But I will say, I took my case to trial with Jon and he showed up to trial with one piece of evidence that he tried to admit at trial, not prior like he's required to. To no surprise, the judge did not allow it. so we basically had no evidence in my favor. There was multiple pieces of evidence I thought he was bringing in my defense. I did a lot of ground work for him, providing him with relevant case law, providing proof my due process rights had been violated. He did nothing with any of this info. He even yelled at me in his office saying he was not pursue a defense when I provided him with proof my due process rights had been violated. I don't know if it's an ego thing or what it is. I honestly feel he is just lazy. He thought he could admit minimal evidence at last minute and possibly win my case. I was charged with a DUI, and I thought Jon could be helpful with that because he's been charged with multiple DUI's... WRONG! After I was sent to prison for this crime I was not guilty of, I talked to a few other people in prison that had also hired Jon but had different charges and very similar stories, in regards to Jon's performance. I'm currently continuing to fight this case with a new attorney and working on holding Jon accountable for his negligence. Save yourself the worry, hire someone else.
