I was involved in a motorcycle accident in 2008 that changed my life as I knew it. I hired Mr. Blackburn to help me and couldn't have made a better decision. Over the last couple of years, Stephen has become a friend, but has maintained his professionalism with respect to the work that needed to be done on my case. He made sure to check up on me during times he knew were especially hard on me - listening to my predicaments and helping me to see the alternatives when I couldn't see them myself.
Stephen never gave me false hopes, but gave me a realistic outlook on my case. My situation from the start seemed very bleak at receiving any kind of settlement at all, and I pretty much wrote it off. Stephen did not. He was very diligent and persistent that I not give up because he wasn't going to, and after two years Stephen came through for me, getting large medical debts waived or reduced, and enough of a settlement to get me back on my feet again. He even reduced his fee to help me out, telling me that I needed it more than he did. That's a rare quality.
I have no doubt that I made the right phone call when I called Stephen Blackburn and I will always recommend him to others who find themselves in hard times after getting injured through no fault of their own.”
