Erik is hands down the best attorney I have worked with! I couldn't have asked for better results. This has been the absolute worst year of my life. He made the entire process painless without "sugar coating" any of it. I would recommend him for anyone facing an almost impossible outcome.
Erik is an amazing attorney. He's been wonderful to me whenever I need help with my clients (I'm an attorney as well). He has always been available to me whenever I wanted a sounding board. His research skills, knowledge, and legal strategies are always creative and on point. I often send my clients to him when they have criminal or bankruptcy issues. He has been kind to them and listens. Not once has he ever made a client feel worthless, as many attorneys seem to like to do. He takes the time to explain the processes to them. The clients always come back to me grateful that I referred them to him. Thanks Erik!

Honest, Smart & Effective
I was recommended to Erik by a friend who he helped with his bankruptcy. Said he was fair, available, smart and competitively priced. I got my first DUI earlier this year and was so intimidated by the police and the process I had no idea what to do. I called Erik and his assistant asked me a few questions and said that Erik would be in touch. He called back very quickly and spent over a half hour on the phone with me explaining every aspect of DUI law and processes. I hung up feeling much better, although he was honest with me and told me the seriousness of the consequences of being arrested for drinking and driving. I ended up hiring Erik, he got me a fair deal for a very fair price and was there with me every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Johnson. He was my knight in shining armor when I din't know who to trust. He's definitely one of the good ones.

Kind, caring, aggressive and supportive!
Erik is very compassionate and caring. I had quite the caseload for him and he was patient and helpful during a rough time for myself and my family. He had my best interest at heart and was not only a good rep for me but a good support.

Request for retainer refund denied
Erik has helped me in the past on cases and done very well. When I asked him to help me with this new case we agreed over the phone that I owed him $500 for the past cases and he would need another $2000 to retain him. I sent him a check that he received 4 days later for $2500. I still have the bank receipt showing the date, amount and that it was cashed. Since receiving the check, Erik has refused to return any phone calls, emails or text messages. I hired another attorney to cover the case that cost me nearly $5000 and have resolved the case. All I'm asking for is that he refund the $2000 for services that were not provided.

Response from Erik JohnsonDecember 3, 2017
This client had multiple criminal cases for which all retainers, time and costs were accounted for and provided to the client. He then was charged with multiple additional cases while spending time in jail in another state and a new contract between us was never agreed upon or signed. After months of communication and some time had passed, the client got out of jail and hired another lawyer for the new cases. I spoke to him several times after that to see if he was doing ok with his cases and his new lawyer and he assured me that he was.
