I hired Tammy to represent me during my divorce, which was already one of the most difficult and stressful periods of my life. Unfortunately, my experience with her representation was extremely disappointing. She arrived at court unprepared and did not even have her laptop with her, requiring her to... ask for a break so she could go to her car to retrieve it. She insisted that I provide every document requested by the opposing side, yet she did not hold the other side to the same standard when they failed to provide requested information, including bank statements and pension-related documents, she did nothing about it. During a break, she engaged in a personal conversation with opposing counsel about highly sensitive matters, including a mastectomy. I found this completely inappropriate. During questioning, she failed to object to questioning that I felt was clearly out of line. She appeared unprepared regarding what questions needed to be asked and even had to turn to me for guidance about what we needed to cover. I expected my attorney to be prepared to advocate for me and guide me through the process—not the other way around. There were also instances where she waited too long to respond to the court and missed important deadlines. Despite these issues, she later asked me for additional money. This was an incredibly difficult and vulnerable time in my life, and rather than feeling supported and properly represented, I felt even more stressed and overwhelmed by my experience with Tammy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend her representation to anyone.
