So she was my lawyer for about six months for my kids case. In that six months We never have a meeting outside from the court room. Also scheduled phone meeting which we have but for brief moment. It is so frustrating when the only person you can ask questions about your case thinks you guilty even t...hough DHS have no evidence of what they accuse me of. I ask my lawyer Alicia Duran please send copys of the court order and the reason DHS social worker just went to the schools and took my kids. Well so far I'm still waiting on the transcript because it was a verbal warrant and the court order. There's no proof of my kids been abuse, my kids were never in danger or been neglected but they just took my kids because they can?You see the day I told our case worker that she is not a good person and she should not work as a social worker.You not trying to keep a family together you trying to break them. I also told the social worker that my wife and kids are scare of me, my wife is scare of you of what you told her. And then three hours later they show up at the school flash there badge around with no paper work from the court and schools just hand my kids over. Of course my lawyer knows that because I told her and still nothing was done. The case started out its about trunacy and it did 360 turn and now the social worker saying that we might not fit to be a parent? So now I just go with the flow i dont expect no help but I'm willingly to sit down with a board member or ethics committee or someone that actually care about the truth. She is very hard to get ahold of and misses appointments. It is hard to schedule in person and doesn't seem like she is interested in your case. She does Pro Bono with cases how ever little to no explanation in legal terms and contracts leaves me uncertain. I would not hire her personally for any cas...e.
