Robert J. Doig (Lawyer) Messed up our Construction Case and my Personal Injury Car Accident Case. Was told by Court Administrator that our Hearing was dismissed due to Robert Doig telling Judge & Court MY case had been resolved and both parties had agreed to a settlement amount WHICH I HADN'T! ... I Caught him in lies and Had to start recording all conversations with him to prove and back up what had been said and agreed to. BUT, By the time I discovered JUST how badly things were and having spent a lot of money on Legal fee's (paid by the hour) and several years of trying to get the case resolved... I decided for my health sake I had to simply put this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE to rest. END RESULT - of poor construction and poor representation by Robert Doig -- WE ENDED UP LOSING OUR HOME (HOUSE AND LOT) . It doesn't surprise me to see this Lawyer is practicing Bankruptcy Law, which doesn't require much work, or more than filing clients debts with the court. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND ROBERT JAMES DOIG....and would suggest looking into his history as an attorney.

I would recommend this lawyer, and I have recommended this lawyer! Bob is an outstanding counselor who has effortlessly steered me through a complicated and unwelcome legal proceeding. His knowledge, integrity, and professionalism are traits that I highly value. He is well respected in his sphere ...of influence as evidenced by the deference shown him by peers, trustees and the judges whom we interacted with. Bob kept me in the loop at every development of my case. Thanks to his detailed follow-through, we were always on time with required paperwork. Acknowledging that each of his clients are different, listening thoughtfully, and then patiently crafting a unique resolution to my particular circumstances, makes me think of Bob with high esteem. My case was closed with very satisfactory resolution. Bob is a straight shooter who does not waste time. He got right to work and let me know where I stood and what it was that he required. He was very helpful in laying out my options and helping me come to a reasonable decision, whenever necessary. I now consider Robert Doig to be a trusted friend and a thoroughly professional resource, for now, and the future.

Robert took the time to explain what happened in the process up front. He also took time to look over all the information that was required to determine my chapter. He was there during the trustee meeting. When I started this process I really had no idea how long it took, or everything that had to ...happen. It really is a tedious process and was exasperating for me. However, Bob had the patience to work with me, answered all my calls, and even responded to all my emails. I felt like he really was working in my best interests. I'm not a patient person so thank goodness Bob had enough for both of us. I'm almost done with my bankrupcy and Bob made it easy enough for me and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. I would defintiely recommend Bob Doig if you have to go down this path.
