Michael Anthony Stuzynski

I am a litigation focused attorney practicing in Colorado Springs.  My first love is criminal defense.  I worked zealously for the Colorado Public Defender's Office for the first 6 years of my career defending the indigent accused in the 18th Judicial District, which includes Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln Counties.  Since leaving the Public Defender, I focus more than half my practice area on criminal defense, working now primarily in El Paso and Douglas County.  I am aggressive and results oriented in my practice, striving to achieve justice and fairness on behalf of my clients.  I have gone to trial over 150 times in Colorado District and County Courts and have amassed tremendous experience that helps me achieve my clients goals.  I have never been afraid to take hard cases to a jury, often to my client's benefit. 

I have taken my trial experience into the practice of civil litigation as well, focusing on personal injury and tort actions.  I have quickly found that defense attorneys in this area of law have less than 1/4 of my litigation experience, which has helped my clients gain advantageous settlements.
