I am a previous client and not only very disappointed but extremely shocked by the way my case was handled for someone claiming his expertise for 30 yrs. He had very little time for my case, stating he was busy with other clients, was on vacation twice and chose to do a class two days before cour...t. In the 9 months he was to represent me, he spent only 5 hours a month from May-July on my case ,Reference of RPC2.1 and RPC 1.4. And according to the few emails that I have,he only corresponded with opposing counsel 20 times in 9 months! I was to be copied on those emails and was not! He didn't follow through in filing motions with the Court, such as Articles 10 and Rule 16.2 and 121, Form 35.1, and CR 14-1-0-114, which is adapted by the Court. I was charged excessive bills for incomplete work! He argued with opposing counsel about several issues he was responsible for and neither turned them in late or not at all and nothing done about them, when a court motion could have been filed. I was lied to several times and he inadvertently, by his choice, sent my client information to his travel agent which again proves, he wasn't paying attention to detail and sharing client privileged information.. For someone who goes to church and involved in his church certainly portrays a sheep in wolves clothing and more concerned about himself than his client! The most damaging evidence for my case was evidence that I gave him when he was hired and he failed to immediately present this to the court, which would have brought a totally different outcome instead of what was dealt to me. He also did not bring this up with the opposing counsel until days before trial, which the opposing counsel seeing the actual proof denied it, saying, "I was just chasing shadows" and Donohoe DID NOTHING WITH THE EVIDENCE IN HIS HANDS! This would have made a huge decision in regard to settlement along with the hidden BANK ACCOUNTS, disclosed two days before court! A Motion to Continue was filed and then refused to follow through with it, knowing with the new damaging information just revealed. He also knew i was due to have surgery in a few months and could have cared less for me or my condition or for that matter my future at 70 years old! I also tried to take the Petitioner back to court and the Judge threw it out based on this attorney, Donohoe doing nothing about the information that was produced two days prior and not following through with the Motion to Continue, he also had the evidence he had from day one! He again lied to me and the Attorney Regulation Counsel, three times, when I reported him, as well as not providing documentation to the Attorney Regulation Counsel that would have proven the issue on the miss sent email to his travel agent! . I had to request two months after trial to pick up my documents and he argued with me about even picking them up when he was suppose to provide them within two weeks of the decree! Upon reviewing the documentation, many court doc's were missing and had to be requested in email form! Part of these documents, he stated he had sent in the mail and I did not receive. He never sent all the correspondence he had with opposing counsel nor during the duration prior, to inform me of such, when I had repeatedly asked for all communication to be copied to me. So evidently, he and the opposing attorney were in bed together by all the failures he has exhibited. According to the decree he was to provide two services ASAP that he failed to do! Therefore, I had to deal with opposing counsel and proving once again his ineptness and unprofessional responsibility to even abide by a court order! I was told one thing and then he did just the opposite in regard to settling the case. He's irresponsible, unreliable and definitely unprofessional and the one thing that gives me justice is he'll have to answer for all of it someday and hoping this saves many others from the hell I went through!

John is a fantastic attorney. He handled my contentious divorce case and I have absolutely no complaints. He returns phone calls and emails usually within 24 hours and will take your call immediately if he can. He kept me well informed through the entire process and insisted that we walk through ever...y step together. For example, his office is just a few blocks from the courthouse and he insisted on walking there together for every hearing (as opposed to just meeting there). That alone cut my nerves in half. Perhaps most important -- he was exceptionally prepared for court. He had prepared a thick, tabbed binder with every piece of information and every exhibit I had given him. He was prepared to respond to every issue in the case. Compare that to my ex-husband's attorney, who had a few sheets of paper. John is also friendly, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Colorado family law. I would 100% recommend that you use him.

John was very professional and worked hard to advocate for me during my divorce. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. He listened to my concerns and was able to set me at ease during a difficult and stressful time in my life. I was going to be in a potentially vulnerable finan...cial situation but with John working for me, in the end I came out with the financial security I needed. I would recommend him for anyone going through a divorce.
