Adam L Weitzel

I served in the U.S. Army prior to enrolling in law school.  In the middle of law school, our country experienced the tragic events of 9/11.  Two days later, I re-enlisted.  After working with the Army's contracting officers, I was able to complete law school while participating in R.O.T.C., and eventually serve our country as a JAG officer.

I am an Eagle Scout, and I remain heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America.  I currently serve at the district level as the District Advancement Chair.  At the unit level, I serve as the Assistant Scout Master over the new Scout patrol for my son's Troop.  I have previously served as an Assistant District Commissioner, on the district Training Committee, as a Scout Master, and as a Chartered Organization Representative.  I have been blessed to be a 4-time faculty member for the University of Scouting, and a 3-time staff member for Wood Badge, where I'm a proud member of the Buffalo patrol.

I served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Church Security.  In that capacity, I was able to assist, teach, and train churches across the country on security matters.

In addition to being a business attorney, I am also an entrepreneur and business owner.  I have owned a number of automotive repair shops, including an entire chain of shops in Colorado.  I currently own a security guard company.  I own a firearms training company.  I own a photography company.  I own a movie production company, and am currently in the middle of producing a full-length feature film.  I enjoy playing the guitar.

Most importantly, I am the husband of a beautiful wife, and the proud father of 4 fantastic children.
