Personable and Professional

I consulted Liz on a traffic ticket that should have been dismissed without me having to do tons of leg work and have the county help me prove my case. However, after giving the city all of my evidence, they still set me up for a bench trial on a bogus ticket that should have never been issued in the first place. This is where Liz entered the picture. I knew that I wanted to represent myself but I needed the confidence and legal expertise to go forward. Liz listened with empathy and insight, and explained things in a very professional but simplistic manner so that I was able to represent myself well enough that the District Attorney moved to dismiss, as he should have in the first place. Liz made me feel very confident with my case and helped me to present my evidence in a clear and convincing manner just as I'm sure she presents all of her cases. Liz is honest and does not try to break the bank with her clients. She will help in every way possible and truly cares about her clients and the way she interacts with them. Her reputation is excellent and she lives up to every wonderful thing said about her. I would not hesitate to use her for any legal issue that might arise in which I could use her expertise. Liz will not disappoint.

Liz Minnerop is originally from the New York City area. She came to Colorado to attend Colorado College. Liz graduated from the Colorado College with a BA in American Political Economics in 2005. She graduated from University of Wyoming, College of Law in 2011.

Liz worked as a legal intern at University of Wyoming Legal Services from 2010-2011. While a legal intern, she wrote and argued issues of parental rights in front of the Wyoming Supreme Court.

Since graduating in 2011, Liz has been practicing law in Greeley Colorado. Liz is also passionate about providing legal services to the less fortunate. She volunteers at events and clinics aimed at providing free legal counsel for the community. She also serving as the president of the Weld County Legal Services Board.

Liz is a member of the Weld County Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association and is currently serving on the Weld County Bar Association board.

When Liz is not working, she can usually be found in the mountains. She enjoys snowboarding during the winter and backpacking, hiking and camping during summer.

Excellent Attorney

I hired Liz to help our family twice. She helped us once through a divorce, and then again through a custody case. I found Liz to be honest, detail oriented, and very knowledgeable regarding the legal system. Liz was prompt at getting back to us, and I felt like she worked hard to help our family. She helped us understand the legal system so that we could make informed decisions. I would not hesitate to use Liz again if we were in need of a lawyer.

I hired Liz while living out of state to work on a case here locally in the Greeley area. She went above and beyond to work with me and get my case settled in quick and outstanding manner. Best Attorney in Colorado

When my husband left me suddenly, I found myself in need of an attorney. I cannot say enough good things about Liz Minnerop and Peek Law. Unlike other mediators and attorneys, she cared about me as an individual. She is compassionate, caring, patient and sympathetic. Couldn't have had better representation!

We couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer to represent us. Liz is extremely knowledgeable in family law! She listened to our needs, advised us of all our options and prepared us for all outcomes including the worst ones. Thankfully because of her excellent professionalism and dedication to our case we were successful in court. She was worth every penny. In addition she is very approachable and explains all the legal red tape most can’t understand.

Liz is incredible!

Liz worked on a case for my husband; it wasn't a typical case for her, so she consulted other attorneys and worked diligently to get us a deal. She explains things simply and takes the time to answer any questions someone might have.

Family Law/Child Custody-High Conflict Case

I was referred to Liz in Aug 2015, I had/have a high conflict separation case. Liz reviewed my case, and the issues at that time, she was specific in what we should do and so I trusted her decision. Since that time the case has lingered on(unfortunately it took a turn for the worse but has taken some time to sort through) that being said I am very confident in the initial steps that she suggested we take to put my case in an offense-type position and a positive outcome for me and my children. I highly recommend her as well as The Peek Law Firm.

Pushes for contested divorce

Pushed for contested divorce driven with the mindset of hatred and separation after a couple is married you should be able to be decent about things and amicable in agreements Liz believes in driving a wedge between a couple and solving all issues at trial or until she breaks your spouse to sign an agreement that’s unfair and unjust
