I have used Katie multiple times to help with different situations involving my family case. Everything from simple parenting plans and child support to having to get full custody of my son. Each time she has been extremely helpful and diligent. She listened to want I wantes and tried her best to mak...e it happen. She's very honest and will be straight forward with you. She will not waste your time if she doesn't feel like something is obtainable for you. I would highly recommend her to help with any of your family law cases. Katie and her team have proven that not all lawyers are s*bags. I have worked with a few different lawyers before Katie and what I found was other lawyers talked a big game but than when it got to negotiation or court time I felt lost, manipulated and pressured by my own attorney, not to mention my ...ex wife's lawyer, to compromise on more than I was expecting to and wanted to. I later realized that I didn't have to sell my soul to be a father after all - This left me not thrilled with our parenting plan but not a lot I could do to make changes. I don't quite remember how I found Katie but I am super thankful that I did. She has been up front about how different decisions will likely play out long term preparing me to make informed decisions when it came time for negotiation. Speaking of go time - she is no nonsense in mediation and I would assume court (she has helped me to stay out of the courtroom - which is very appreciated because I don't want our inability to make joint decisions for our children to land us in front of a judge, letting him (a stranger) make decisions for us that at the end of the day my children have to live with). She is a professional, but she hasn't let my ex's numerous attempts to, lack of a better term, bulls*** me and manipulate me get anywhere. I felt like Katie and her team were on my side, sort of like that friend that you can depend on to tell you the good and be honest with the bad. Things have been messy, especially cleaning up what we could after my first attorney - but I feel good about the place Katie has helped me to get to with my impossible ex.
