Melanie Ann Sedlak

My practice focuese on criminal defense litigation, family law litigation, dependency and neglect matters, and juvenile defense.  In my thirteen years as a trial attorney, I have litigated thousands of cases in courts across Colorado -- including cases of first degree murder, aggravated robberies, sexual offenses, organized drug and gang crimes, and family law matters.

My primary experience is in representing individuals facing prosecution by the government and my roster is clients is wide-ranging and includes representing individuals accused of misdemeanors and felonies or those facing administrative sanctions.

In 2005, I entered into private practice after my career as a Deputy State Public Defender.  In 2010, I merged my law practice with Houtchens, Houtchens, & Greenfield, joining as a partner.
