Biography

I have been a family law attorney in Colorado since 2000. I've represented hundreds of clients successfully in a wide range of contested and non-contested family law matters. My legal practice is focused on family law and divorce, representing clients in divorce and legal separation cases, including the division of assets and debts, spousal maintenance and support, child custody and support as well as post-divorce modifications and enforcement. I also have significant experience with adoptions, guardianships, and grandparent visitation cases. I am very skilled at working with people in stressful and heavily contested situations.
Prior to joining Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, I worked in New York City as a caseworker with public interest and non-profit organizations. This work included advocating for medical, housing, disability, and support benefits. I worked with clients in contested landlord-tenant issues, assisted with general civil court matters and disability appeals, and provided job training and coaching.
