My husband and I hired Marnie to prepare our estate plans. She was efficient and very knowledgeable and always followed through with the timeframes promised. She provided many documents along with the typical wills and powers of attorney that are really helping us get organized about our wishes. I would definitely recommend her for any estate planning needs.
Marnie did a great job in helping us update our Wills, General Power of Attorney, Power of Attorney for Health Care and Community Property Agreements. Marnie took the time to walk us through the complicated process and made us feel comfortable every step of the way.
I prepare personalized, custom estate planning documents for my clients. My estate planning documents help my clients while they are living and allow my clients to direct what will happen to their assets, and who will take care of their children and pets, upon death. Estate planning documents can include Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Advance Directives, Pet Care Guides, Beneficiary Designations, Deeds, Marital Agreements, and business documents. I also help probate estates.
I advise my clients regarding choice of entity, and I prepare organizational documents for corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations. I advise my clients in obtaining and maintaining tax exempt status. I prepare customized contracts in connection with my clients' operation of their businesses. I prepare buy-sell agreements regarding business interests or business assets. I review, amend, and advise my clients regarding documents prepared by others.
In addition to preparing personalized, custom trust documents for my clients (usually in connection with "estate planning"), I also review, amend, and advise my clients regarding trusts that other attorneys have written. I have experience with pet trusts, living trusts and testatmentary trusts, revocable and irrevocable trusts, life insurance trusts, dynasty trusts, community property trusts, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, beneficiary designations, deeds, marital agreements, and more.
I prepare customized contracts for my clients in connection with the formation and operation of a business entity or nonprofit organization. I also prepare customized agreements in connection with estate planning (prenuptial, community property, and other marital agreements), I also review, amend, and advise my clients regarding agreements that others have written.
Although I prepare wills and living wills for my clients, my work usually involves a complete estate plan (see my description for the "Estate Planning" practice area). I also help administer estates (whether or not the decedent had a will) through probate.
Marnie is a trustworthy and knowledgeable estate planning and nonprofit lawyer. The attorneys at Walsh Law, P.C. help clients make educated choices with confidence. They are reliable and well-respected in Jefferson County (Colorado) and its surrounding areas.
