Don Goulart was my worst nightmare
Don Goulart was my first lawyer. I was naive in my expectations. He warned us that we would have large legal bills, but in the end the only ones we ever had were defending ourselves against him. I used to laugh at bad lawyer jokes, now I still cringe.
"Drawing on his career experience as a builder, Mr. Goulart is a creative and dynamic construction litigation attorney who works tirelessly for his clients while upholding the highest standards of professional integrity. I endorse Mr. Goulart and his work without hesitation."

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"Don's combined legal and construction expertise is a real asset for his clients and makes him a one-of-kind attorney in his area. Don has a drive for success that is unmatched. I have found Don to be a smart, thoughtful, driven person -- all characteristics that I would want in an attorney for myself. I definitely recommend Don."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"Law is Don’s second career. His first career was in the construction industry. This is a huge benefit for Don’s clients. Don started his construction career with a degree in design from the University of California and became a licenced commercial and residential contractor in California and then in Colorado. The construction process is very intricate and technical. Lawyers, without Don’s expertise, when deciding to take a case refer their clients to expensive construction consultants (experts) to evaluate their claims and advise the lawyer on the validity of the client’s claim. The expert explains the claim and advises the lawyer. At this point, the client has spent several thousands of dollars and several months have passed. Don’s clients get both the lawyer and the expert up front, no B.S., no delay, and much less cost."
